Pharmaceuticals and Biotechnology meeting

Our Association collaborated with Fraunhofer Life Sciences organized a meeting titled “Pharmaceuticals and Biotechnology" on 23 September 2014 in Hyatt Hotel Istanbul.  Opening speeches were made by Dr. Claus-Dieter Kroggel, Head of the Group Office of the Fraunhofer Group for Life Sciences, Serdar Sözeri, head of R&D Working Group and Hakkı Gürsöz, Vice President of Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency.

In the meeting, Turkish Pharmaceutical Industry’s R&D goals and R&D Working Group’s activities in this field were conveyed. Also Fraunhofer Lifesciences representatives made presentations about development and production of biotechnologic and biosimilar drugs.
