One of the biggest Pharma Fairs in the world, CPhI Istanbul 2014 opened

The International CPhI Istanbul 2014 fair be organized by UBM for the first time in Turkey, the biggest and most comprehensive pharma event in Eurasia, opened today. Dr. Saim Kerman, President of the Turkish Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency and Nezih Barut, Chairman, Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association of Turkey, made statements regarding the event.

Mr. Kerman:  “We’ve been believing that Turkish pharmaceutical industry can be a global player since 2002. With state-of-the-art technology and modern facilities, Turkish pharma industry meets the requirements of developed markets. Istanbul is intersection point and Turkey has very close relationships with many countries. In addition to these, we still continue our investments and improvements on health services.

I strongly believe that CPhI will contribute to the promotion of our pharma industry and will maintain cooperation between our companies and foreign partners.”

Mr. Barut: “This year is our Association’s 50th anniversary year. Transforming our industry into a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer and exporter and enhancing R&D capacity are two main goals for our industry. For these goals, we resolutely continue our efforts. CPhI Istanbul is a very meaningful event for our industry.”
