R&D Strategies and World Health Joint Mind Meeting in The Health Sector

Under the leadership of IEIS, an online joint mind meeting titled "R&D Strategies and World Health in the Health Sector" was held on April 28, 2022 with the support of our member Turgut Pharmaceuticals and the organization of Turkishtime, an economic and business portal.

Murat Barlas, Member of the IEIS Disciplinary Board and Chairman of the Turkish Biopharmaceuticals and Vaccine Platform, and Tunç Turgut, Chairman of Turgut Pharmaceuticals, gave their openning speeches. The meeting was moderated by Hakan Guldag. Panelists consisting of scientists selected from Turkishtime's Study of Turkish Scientists Leading Medical Science and industry representatives and academicians working in the field of pharmaceuticals evaluated innovation in health.

Deans and assistant deans of medical schools, faculties of pharmacy and some related faculties also participated as observer participants. The final report of the meeting will be published in the coming months together with the Turkey R&D 250 Report.
