Pharmaceutical production facility visit and 'University-Industry Cooperation in Pharma R&D Evaluation Meeting'

IEIS organized a pharmaceutical production facility visit for the academicians in the Faculties of Pharmacy of Ankara University and Gazi University on 14 April 2017. Abdi İbrahim Pharmaceuticals’ production and R&D facilities were visited within the scope of the event. In the afternoon, 'University-Industry Cooperation in Pharma R&D Evaluation Meeting' was organized with the participation of IEIS R&D Working Group members and the representatives of Turkish Biopharmaceuticals Platforms. At the meeting, the Chairman of Turkish Biopharmaceuticals Platform and IEIS Board Member Murat Barlas, IEIS Public and Academic Relations Advisor Vedat Eğilmez, Dean of Ankara University Faculty of Pharmacy Dr. Gülbin Özçelikay and Dean of Gazi University Faculty of Pharmacy Prof. Dr. Ilkay Erdoğan Orhan made presentations. Pharma R&D and the opportunities for cooperation in this field were discussed from the perspectives of university and industry.
